Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide who will brief you about your upcoming adventure.

After the transfer to your hotel in Arusha, you can relax and prepare for your Tanzania safari tour before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, your safari begins with a drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations.

The park is famous for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees and beautiful savannah scenery. During your Tarangire National Park safari, you will explore the park’s famous elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, impalas and other wildlife species.

Tarangire is also home to predators such as lions, leopards and spotted hyenas, making it an exciting destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

After exploring the park, you will continue to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari Experience

After breakfast, you will continue your Ngorongoro Crater safari, visiting one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site formed millions of years ago after a volcanic collapse. Its enclosed ecosystem supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Your Ngorongoro Crater safari experience begins as you descend into the crater where you will have the opportunity to see lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, rhinos, antelopes and many bird species. With luck, you may even spot the famous Big Five during your visit.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will continue exploring before returning to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha Departure

After breakfast, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful destination located along the Great Rift Valley.

Your Lake Manyara safari introduces you to one of Tanzania’s most diverse ecosystems, including forests, wetlands and the famous soda lake. During your game drive, you may see large troops of baboons, blue monkeys, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos and numerous bird species including flamingos.

Lake Manyara is also famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, which can sometimes be seen resting on acacia tree branches.

After the game drive and lunch, you will return to Arusha where your 4 Days Tanzania Safari ends. You will be transferred to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
