Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe after breakfast.
You will meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey towards Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of Uganda’s countryside, traditional communities, and changing landscapes as you travel towards the northern region of the country.
Upon arrival at the park, you will check into your booked lodge and have time to relax. Later in the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting evening game drive.
During the game drive, you may encounter some of Uganda’s incredible wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and various bird species.
After the adventure, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you will start your day with an early morning wildlife drive through the park’s scenic plains, including the Nyamsika Plateau area.
The cooler morning hours provide excellent opportunities to spot wildlife as animals are more active. During the game drive, you may see predators such as lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas, together with herbivores including Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, elephants, and waterbucks.
Additionally, you may encounter other species such as oribi, Bohor reedbucks, sitatunga, bushbucks, warthogs, and bush pigs.
After the game drive, return for lunch before enjoying an unforgettable afternoon boat cruise on the Nile River towards the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls.
During the boat safari, you will have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants along the riverbanks, and numerous water birds while enjoying spectacular views of the falls.
Finally, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
Before leaving the park, enjoy a final morning game drive where you may have another opportunity to spot wildlife and capture memorable photographs.
Later, continue your journey with a short stop in Masindi town for refreshments before proceeding to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.
