Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your professional driver-guide will warmly welcome you before transferring you to your pre-booked hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. This allows you to relax after your journey and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking adventure ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, you’ll stop at the famous Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for photographs before continuing to Mbarara for lunch. Afterwards, travel through Uganda’s beautiful countryside to your lodge near one of Bwindi’s gorilla trekking sectors, where you can relax before the next day’s adventure.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Uganda Experience
Following an early breakfast, carry your packed lunch and head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Afterwards, begin your trek through the ancient rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing their behaviour in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Batwa Cultural Experience & Return to Kampala
After breakfast, visit the Batwa community, where you’ll discover the traditions, culture, and history of one of Uganda’s oldest indigenous communities. Later, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, enjoying scenic countryside views before arriving in time for your onward travel.
