Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our professional safari guide will warmly welcome you before transferring you to your booked hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
Afterwards, take time to relax and prepare for your exciting Uganda gorilla trekking adventure.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with your experienced safari guide.
Along the way, stop at the Uganda Equator Crossing in Kayabwe for memorable photographs before continuing to Mbarara for lunch. Later, proceed to Buhoma Sector in Bwindi, where you will check into your lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax for the evening.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before collecting your packed lunch for the day ahead.
Next, your guide will transfer you to the Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point, where experienced ranger guides will introduce you to the gorilla trekking guidelines before leading you into Bwindi Forest in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas.
After spending an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants, return to the lodge. Depending on the time available, you may visit the Batwa community to learn about their unique culture and traditions or simply relax at your accommodation.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Following breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park through the famous Ishasha Sector, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can observe hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and numerous bird species gathering along the water’s edge.
Finally, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Return to Kampala
Begin your final safari day with an early breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Afterwards, start your return journey to Kampala, passing the scenic Twin Lakes of Rubirizi and the tea plantations of Kyamuhunga. Later, stop at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch before continuing to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
