3 Days Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale Safari

Additionally, this 3-day safari combines exciting chimpanzee trekking, a guided community walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, breathtaking rainforest scenery, and convenient domestic flights, making it the perfect short Uganda wildlife adventure.

Day 1: Fly to Kasese and Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Kajjansi Airfield for your scheduled domestic flight to Kasese Airstrip.

Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and begin the scenic drive to Kibale National Park. Along the way, you may visit the beautiful Kibale Crater Lakes before checking into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Community Experience

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before meeting your guide for a transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre, where Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers will conduct a briefing.

Afterwards, begin your unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience through Kibale Forest in search of our closest relatives in their natural habitat.

Following lunch, enjoy a guided community walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you will discover rich birdlife, beautiful wetlands, and interact with the local community.

Finally, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Return Flight to Kampala

Following breakfast, check out of your lodge and transfer to Kasese Airstrip for your return domestic flight to Kajjansi Airfield.

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy lunch or explore Entebbe’s local craft markets before your guide transfers you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
