Detailed itinerary for 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari
Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early morning pickup from Kampala or Entebbe, then drive southwest through Masaka and Mbarara to Kabale, making a stopover at the equator crossing for photos and refreshments. Lunch en route in Mbarara. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills and terraced landscapes as you approach Bwindi. Evening arrival at the lodge, dinner, and overnight. Overnight: Buhoma Haven Lodge. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner Travel time: Approximately 8-9 hours
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Bwindi
Early breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by UWA rangers, then begin the gorilla trekking adventure. (2-6) hours depending on the gorilla movement. Spend one magical hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat; thereafter, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, have a community visit, guided nature walk, and Batwa cultural experience (optional activities at an extra cost). Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
