3 Days Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu forest Reserve is a Biodiversity tropical rain forest that is teeming with life. The 137 sq km forest Ranges in Altitude between 1,000 and 1,500 meters above sea level. The forest is home to 200 plus Chimpanzees plus Blue Monkeys, Velvet Monkeys, Black and White Columbus Monkeys and Olive baboons. There are 414 species of trees and shrubs that you will find here.

There are 379 species of birds, making this a must to visit the forest for Birders and 262 species of Butterflies, Reptiles and various Mammals such forest Elephants, forest buffaloes, Antelopes, Bush pigs mention but few. Kalinzu forest is the Second-best Forest for Chimpanzee Trekking after kibale forest the number one destination for chimp trekking.

Day 1: Transfer to kalinzu forest and Evening Nature Walk

You will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at 06:30am and meet your safari guide who will take you to explore kalinzu forest passing via masaka- mbarara then to bushenyi and then check in to your booked lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Crater lakes drive

Wake up early in the morning at 06:30am and have breakfast then after meeting your guide who will drive to the visitation site of kalinzu eco- tourism for briefing and then be handed to Ranger guides.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala

Wake up early in the morning at 7:00 am and have breakfast, after you will meet your guide and embark on your journey to Kampala using kaseese fort portal route through Queen Elizabeth national park. You will wake up late in the morning like at 8:30am and have breakfast and have city tour for some craft shopping and souvenirs as you wait for your flight time.
