3-days birding safari in Uganda which counts 11% of the world’s total bird count bird counting and 50% of the Africa’s bird count making it number destination in Africa and Africa. Our birding trip will take us to Queen Elizabeth national park which the number one birding destination with over 600 species of birds making it birders choice. Birding in queen will take you along the boat cruise on kazinga channel to view both resident and migratory birds from Asia and other countries and states, you will also go or birding inside the park also visit munyanyange lake for lesser flamingos. On our return we shall via Mabamba swamp to see the rare shoe bill.
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early in the morning with heavy breakfast at 6:30am; meet your guide you will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. if you reach in time, you can do evening birding at in the park. All meals and Accommodation are mweya safari lodge.
Day 2: Bird watching along kazinga channel and afternoon visit Lake Munyanyange
Wake up early in the morning with served breakfast and the meet your guide to drive to the boat cruise in mweya down mweya safari lodge. You will do boat cruise with birding. Species viewed are pied kingfisher, African mourning dove, cattle egrets, water egrets, yellow billed stork, and comorates, spur winged plover and many water birds and then visit Lake Munyanyange for lesser flamingos during their season. Return to the lodge. All meals and accommodation are mweya safari lodge.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala and visit Mabamba swamp.
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at exactly 5:30am and meet your guide for the journey to Mabamba swamp to look for the shoe bile and then the after going for airport departure late evening.
