IMPORTANT NOTES

This itinerary involves long driving distances between destinations, but the routes are very scenic and form part of the overall experience. Gorilla trekking requires a moderate level of physical fitness due to the steep and sometimes muddy terrain in Bwindi Forest. Permits for both gorilla and chimpanzee trekking are limited and should always be secured in advance to avoid last-minute unavailability. Accommodation is based on mid-range lodges that provide comfort, good service, and strategic proximity to park entrances. The itinerary may be adjusted slightly depending on permit availability or weather conditions, but all key experiences will still be delivered.
