4 day gorilla tracking safari Uganda takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you’ll meet the world’s most endangered species. Over 453 species have been identified in Bwindi, giving Uganda home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, and over 15 groups have been habituated and are ready for gorilla tracking in four sectors of Bwindi and Mgahinga national parks.

Itinerary for 4 days gorilla tracking Bwindi and Batwa Experience

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.

You will meet your guide at the airport and be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up early for breakfast and begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with your tour guide. You will stop for photos at the Ugandan Equator crossing in Kayabwe, then travel to Mbarara for lunch before continuing to your booked lodge in one of the Bwindi gorilla tracking sectors.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi

Wake up early with supplied breakfast and packed lunch, and then meet your guide, who will transport you to the briefing area at 7:00 a.m., followed by ranger guides to visit the great gentle apes. Later transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Batwa Cultural Interaction and Return to Kampala

Depending on how far you hiked yesterday, you might want to visit a Batwa community for a local experience and a way of life. Later, transfer to Kampala or Entebbe for the return trip.
