3 days Murchison Falls Safari will take you to one of the world’s largest and oldest national parks, complete with breathtaking and dramatic waterfalls (over 3,840 square kilometers). It is covered with wetlands, woods, acacia savannah, and grasslands, which provide habitat and food for wildlife, the 87 large mammals, including the Big Five, all of which can be spotted during game drives within the national park.
Itinerary for 3 days Murchison Falls Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
You’ll have breakfast and check out before being transferred to Murchison Falls National Park, which has great en route vistas and traditional picturesque homesteads. You will arrive in the park early afternoon and check into the booked lodge. Later in the evening, head out for an evening game drive, and after, retire back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up to breakfast; head out on a morning wildlife drive on the Nyamasika plateau’s Murchison Falls National Park. Aside from carnivores like lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas, you can anticipate seeing cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, elephants, and waterbucks during the game drive. Other animals you can see include oribi, bohor reedbuck, shy sitatunga, bush duiker, warthog, and bush pigs. After your wildlife drive, you’ll spend the afternoon at the base of the waterfall on a boat ride on the River Nile. After dinner, spend the night at the lodge.
Day 3: Morning game drive and return to Kampala/Entebbe
Wake up to breakfast and check out of the lodge, head back to Kampala, making a brief stop in Masindi Town for refreshments and snacks before continuing on to Kampala to connect with the return aircraft at Entebbe Airport.
