4 Days Primate Tracking Safari Rwanda


Rwanda has one of the best ecosystems in Africa especially its fauna and flora. The Persons are hospitable to interact with in addition to its great national parks like akagera, nyungwe and volcanoes.
Akagera is 1200km squared east which was founded in 1934 and gazetted for fauna and flora. Nyungwe is south west with primates like velvets, red-tailed monkeys, baboons and 300 bird species for example; orchids & butterflies. Volcanoes is 160kmsq which was gazetted for mountain gorilla north at musanze with headquarters at kinigi. Proposed itinerary

Day 1
Arrive at kanombe airport, transfer to the hotel for breakfast.
Travel to kinigi an ancient ground with biography information, art materials and craft shops. Return for a lunch break at the hotel and drive to musanze for cave tours. Proceed to the twin lakes of burera & ruhondo with an expectation of viewing different bird species along the lake shores. Return to your hotel for dinner and sleep over.

Day 2
Breakfast served; proceed to the volcanoes park headquarters for briefing on tracking man’s shy cousins. Pack your lunch, drinking water and rain gears with high expectations of viewing different birds especially the shoe bill stork. Relax at dusk at the hotel with some dinner refreshment and then an overnight rest.

Day 3
Breakfast served, drive to Nyungwe Park and grab your lunch.
In the afternoon take on some nature walk to view different birds and flying butterflies. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Breakfast served; drive to the briefing grounds about the primates in the forest that is bestowed with species like the black and white colobus monkeys, birds and flora. Return for an hour lunch break at the hotel in the afternoon and proceed to Kigali local market for shopping while preparing for departure at the airport.
